Morning Plenary

Dr. Bray’s slides from the framing conversation can be downloaded from the IUPR website, available here.

Dr. Dulaney mentioned “Dallas at the Crossroads,” a movie produced by the Dallas Citizens Council in 1961. It appears below.

Dr. Phillips mentioned that we should read Dr. Dulaney’s essay “Whatever happened to the Civil Rights Movement in Dallas?” This essay appears in his edited volume Essays on the American Civil Rights Movement, co-edited with Kathleen Underwood. Luncheon Keynote

Jerry Hawkins presented a preview of the upcoming report from Dallas Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation.

Mr. Hawkins mentioned the upcoming release event on May 9th. The event is free and for the public. More information and tickets can be found here.
