Judge Brandon Birmingham
Brandon Birmingham is a Felony District Judge in Dallas County, and is the former Presiding Judge of the Dallas County Felony District Courts. He helped create a unique second chance court for youthful offenders called AIM Court, and presides over Dallas County’s High Risk Domestic Violence Court. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He has taught over 50 hours of Continuing Legal Education for the Texas State Bar, and is a frequent legal commentator for local and national media outlets. He also wrote a column for local newspapers in 2018 called “And Justice For All.” He created a podcast on historically significant trials with North Texas ties called “A Murderous Design,” available on iTunes, Spotify and YouTube.
