Beverly Davis
Beverly’s career in Dallas city government has spanned over 35 years with service in over five city departments. She is currently the Director of the Office of Equity and Human Rights (OEHR), which was created and expanded from the Fair Housing and Human Rights Office effective October 1, 2018. OEHR is responsible for implementation and oversight of Equity Initiatives for the City of Dallas and is also responsible for Fair Housing and Human Rights. Beverly’s tenure as Director of Fair Housing and Human Rights began in 2009. In this capacity, she has been responsible for enforcement of anti-discrimination laws and ensuring that the City takes steps to affirmatively further fair housing. This includes providing oversight of the preparation of the Assessment of Fair Housing and the Analysis of Impediments. She holds a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Personnel and Industrial Relations from the University of North Texas.
