Bianca Avery, M.Ed. is a businesswoman, educator, political strategist, and community advocate based out of Dallas, Texas.  She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and completed her graduate studies in Leadership and Administration from Texas A&M University - Commerce.  She is the Co-chair of the Civic Engagement committee of DFW Urban League of Young Professionals, Policy Coordinator for the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE), and Social Action chair for the Psi Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.  She also is the Community Relations Officer for COIR Holdings, LLC, a community revitalization firm. She is a passionate believer in giving back to the communities she serves especially as it pertains to the youth and their families. An educator for over 13 years, she has worked as a classroom teacher in public school districts as well as a Classroom Observer and Program Evaluator at Southern Methodist University.  A member of Concord Church, she believes her faith calls her to do good works and make a positive impact in this world. She is married to Derek Avery, Sr, and they are the proud parents of three beautiful children Derek Jr., Madison, and Bryce.
